SESSION 1

Theater Exploration - Beauty and the Beast | Session 2 | July 8th - 19th | $800

In this two-week intensive, students will put on short 30 minute productions of several songs and scenes combined together to tell a complete story. This session, we will be working on Beauty and the Beast! All students will participate in an informal (low pressure!) audition and be assigned a character that they will spend the two weeks exploring and developing not only through rehearsal of the production but also through improv games and character development exercises. In addition to learning music, choreography and scene work for our production, the students may explore and help construct elements of production design including costumes, props, and scenery. It’s a perfect crash course in all the elements of putting on a show!

Digital Art Exploration | Session 2 | July 8th - 19th | $800

The two-week digital art course is designed for students who are interested in exploring their creativity and learning new skills in the field of digital art. The course focuses specifically on using Procreate, a popular digital art software, on iPads, to create stunning pieces of art. The course covers various topics such as using Procreate tools, creating digital paintings, sketching, coloring, and adding special effects. The girls will have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and collaborate with each other to create unique and beautiful art pieces. By the end of the course, the girls will have gained a deeper understanding of digital art, developed their skills in using Procreate and have a portfolio of digital art ready to be shared.
