The Woodward School is a college preparatory, day school for girls in grades 6 through 12, located in Quincy, Massachusetts,
10 miles from the center of Boston. Students come to Woodward from Quincy, Boston, and approximately 20 surrounding communities.

Woodward is a SEVIS certified school, authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant status students. Since 1993, Woodward has enrolled and educated students from Asia, Europe, South America, and Canada. Each year, Woodward welcomes approximately 10 percent of our student body from other countries.

Woodward provides English language learning and academic training to enable our international students to excel in Woodward's rigorous, college preparatory program, preparing them for application and success at colleges and universities in the United States and beyond.

International students applying to Woodward are expected to have moderate, developing proficiency in English. English Language Learning instruction and support is provided in a separate ELL language class, and also to support students in academic classes that are conducted in English. For students who need additional language learning support, tutoring may be recommended or required.
