Step #1 - Complete our Inquiry Form To Begin Application

Please start the application process by filling out an inquiry form - linked below. Upon submission of this form, prospective students will receive a user ID and password that must be used to access the online application linked in the email.  The application deadline is January 31st. 

Once you have received the email containing your login credentials you may access the online application in the confirmation email, or by clicking the Application button below. 

Step #2 - Schedule a Visit

The best way to learn more about Woodward and whether it is a fit for you - is to visit for a Shadow Day. When you visit, you will attend classes with a current student guide, and interview with the Director of Admissions. STEP #3 - Register for an Exam

Register for the ISEE: Grades 6-8 only

The ISEE is a standard assessment of skills for independent school applicants assessing a student's reasoning and achievement skills among students of the same grade. Please register for the ISEE if you are seeking to enroll your student in grades 6-8.

Register for the SSAT: Grades 9-11 only

The SSAT is a standardized test for students seeking to enroll in an independent school. Students seeking to enter grades 9-11 should register for the SSAT.  "The SSAT measures the basic verbal, math, and reading skills students need for successful performance in independent schools." (
