Attention Students: Ms. Hogan is seeking 6 volunteers for The Quincy Rotary Holiday Party next Thursday, December 8. The Details are: - WHO: 6 volunteers: 2 energetic elves to help Santa. Others to help in craft room with Rotarians' children/grandchildren.
WHAT: Quincy Rotary Holiday Party
WHEN: Thursday, December 8 from 4:45-8:00PM
WHERE: The Neighborhood Club of Quincy (27 Glendale Rd., Quincy)
WHAT TO WEAR: This is a dress up event, so please wear an outfit similar to what you would wear on a Woodward dress up day, but a little bit nicer. You must provide your own transportation to/from the event. - Pizza dinner will be provided. Please e-mail Ms. Hogan (shogan@thewoodwardschool.org as soon as possible to sign up. Thank you!

We are still waiting for the plates left over from Thanksgiving to be claimed. Please check outside of Ms. Gordon’s office – there is a Minion plate with a green plate cover, as well as a blue and white container. This will be moved to the Lost and Found area on Friday.

Coats for KIDS, continues until January 6th Please bring in clean, gently used Children and Adult coats to be professionally dry cleaned and distributed in the community. There is a collection box in Ms. Casey’s room. Thank you

Tickets are now on sale for Woodward night with the Celtics, Wednesday January 25th 2017 at 7:30 pm - $100 ticket includes: lower level seating post-game shoot around and coupon to the pro shop. All members of the Woodward community and their guests are welcome. Please look for flyers around school or Ms. Hogan for further information.

The Holiday Craft Fair is on Sunday, December 11 from 10am to 4pm in the gym. This is an annual event and a fantastic opportunity for community service hours. If you are interested in volunteering, please see Ms. Iolli for sign-up.

Please Support Quincy Community Action Holiday Drive To benefit the Southwest Community Center, sponsored by Student Government. Collection begins on Monday, Nov. 28th by class – Dec 12th. The class with the most food items wins a prize!  Some suggestions of items to donate are: *Stuffing * Turkey Gravy & Chicken Broth * Cranberry Sauce * Boxed Potatoes * Canned Green Beans * Canned Yams * Marshmallows * Pumpkin Pie Mix * Pie Shells * Cake, Bread and pudding mixes.
