International Students at Woodward
Each year, The Woodward School welcomes students from around the world, who seek an educational experience in the United States. Approximately ten percent of Woodward's student enrollment are international students. Woodward provides excellent english language training to enable our international students to excel in Woodward's rigorous college preparatory program, and prepare them for application and success at colleges and universities in the United States and around the world.
Woodward is a day school and does not provide housing for international students. Our students either arrange housing and temporary guardianship through an agent or through friends or family.
International Student Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the 2018-19 academic year for international students is $23,729, plus an activity fee of $275 and a Technology Fee of $250.
Step #1 - Complete inquiry form To begin application
Please start the application process by filling out an inquiry form linked below. Upon submission of this form, prospective students will receive an email with an individual user ID and password for access to the online application, which will be linked in the email. The application deadline is January 31, 2018. Applications will be accepted after this date, where seats are available, and in the order submitted.
Once you have received the email containing your login credentials you may access the online application in the confirmation email, or by clicking the Application button below.
Step #2 - Complete TOEFL Exam
The TOEFL Exam is required for all our future international students whose first language is not English. Please take the TOEFL or the TOEFL JR (intended for students ages 11-15), and send results directly to Woodward by using school code B357.
Step #3 - Complete SSAT
High school applicants should also complete the SSAT and submit results using school code 8310. The SSAT is a standardized test for students seeking to enroll in an independent school. Students seeking to enter grades 9-11 should register for the SSAT. "The SSAT measures the basic verbal, math, and reading skills students need for successful performance in independent schools." Step #4 - Submit Transcripts and Interview

- All international students must complete an interview with an admissions representative in person or via video conference. The admissions office will contact each applicant to schedule an interview once the application has been submitted.
- Send bank statement as proof of ability to pay tuition to email@example.com
Once all documents are received, we will make every effort to inform you of your admissions status via email within ten (10) days.
The Woodward School is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
