Financial Aid & Scholarships
The Woodward School remains committed to out Founders' intent to make an excellent college preparatory education available to as many qualified girls as possible. Woodward does not consider a family's financial situation for admission.
- The SSS code for Woodward is 8312
- For parents who are separated, divorced or were never married, Woodward requires that each parent file a PFS along with additional tax documentation. Parents can be assured that all financial information received from one parent will not be shared with the other.
- The financial aid application deadline is February 15th. If you are applying for admissions after this date, please contact the admissions office prior to completing the application to ensure availability of funds.
Merit based scholarships are given at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. Decisions are based on the application, scores, recommendation and interview. There is no application for the merit scholarships.
Quincy Adams Scholarship
The Quincy Adams Scholarship is awarded to students who enroll at Woodward and reside in Quincy, Massachusetts in honor of President Adams and the Adams family. Applicants must provide proof of Quincy residency at the time of their application for each school year. There is no fee to apply for this scholarship.
The Woodward School awards scholarships to students who are eligible for financial aid. Individual awards range in value, depending on the student's financial need and other criteria. The Scholarship Awards are funded by generous gifts of Woodward benefactors. Without this support from alumnae and friends of the School, Woodward would not be able to continue to meet the full financial need of all of our aid applicants. Named Woodward scholarships are given to students who are eligible for financial assistance and who meet the additional selection preferences specific by donors. Students apply for Woodward scholarships by completing the student application for need-based financial aid.
Tuition for the 2017-2018 school year for domestic students is $16,090, plus an activity fee of $275 and a Technology Fee of $250.
